Red Striders

Red Striders® are Step Out_®Walk participants who live with diabetes and represent over 38 million Americans who also live with the disease. As they walk alongside fellow Red Striders and others who are committed to the fight to end diabetes, this event helps show them they are not alone. Red is the color of courage and passion, and Red Striders wear it proudly to symbolize their commitment to ending diabetes.

When you join Step Out as a Red Strider, you'll experience the thrill of participating in a fun event surrounded by like-minded people working towards a common goal. We look forward to having you join us!

Our Red Strider program is for anyone with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, or Gestational (GDM)). Participants wishing to be recognized as a Red Strider can share their connection to the mission during registration.
