The story of team "To Sir Ricky With Love".

Type 2 Diabetes was the root cause in the deaths of my mother (2017), my father (2022), and, most recently, my brother Ricky (2024). Unlike with the passing of my parents, Ricky's passing was much more unexpected. He was only 56 and had a multitude of plans for the future alongside his wife and children. The loss of him has been immeasurable. 

Even before our family's first loss in 2017, due to complications caused by diabetes, this ADA Walk fundraising event has held a special place in my heart due to its impact on my family (including my maternal grandparents). I would love for you to consider joining our team, To Sir Ricky With Love, and fundraising with us. There is no registration fee for this event.
